Advice and assistance to help find work

Work improves lives and gives people an income, confidence and social opportunities. It can also have a positive impact on your family. There are ways for you to find work whilst managing your health, and links to organisations below who can help you achieve this. We also have links to Access to Work and Disability Confident which exist to support companies to employ people with a disability.

Wolves at Work

Joint Council and DWP programme to support job ready Wolverhampton residents into work. More than 3,000 people have already found work through this programme.

Thrive into Work

A programme that aims to get people with a health condition into work using the Individual Placement and Support Model. You must be 18+ and have a referral from your GP.


You are eligible for Enable if you are: Aged 16 or above, Live in Wolverhampton, Have a disability or Receive support from Social Services or have a current EHCP.

Black Country Impact

If you are aged between 15-29 and not in employment, education or training, you will be eligible for this project. There is financial assistance to support you into work or training.

Work & Health Programme

DWP-run programme to support people with health conditions into work. You do not need to be in receipt of a benefit to access this support.


We support people that are: 25+, Unemployed, Economically Inactive, Have complex needs/multiple barriers which are impacting on being able to enter paid employment.
