What we do:
The Black Country Impact project (Wolverhampton) is a free service that is determined to tackle the barriers that may be preventing some young adults from finding work, improving their skills or gaining qualifications.
There can be no doubt that these are challenging times for some, but through our specialised services ranging from coaching to ongoing support throughout the journey, we aim to help young adults achieve their full potential.
Whatever the circumstances, whether long term unemployed, just left school, college or university, a lone parent, a graduate, never had a job or just not sure what to do, we can help!
What we offer:
- FREE ONE TO ONE SUPPORT to help young adults make informed choices regarding their future.
- INFORMATION, ADVICE AND GUIDANCE with the aim of progressing into education, employment or training.
- Identifying opportunities and completing applications or CV’s, job search, interview skills and confidence building.
- Funding may also be available for training or qualifications, interview clothing, work personal protective equipment (PPE) and travel support.
- A bespoke service with a key worker trained to support you through your journey.

My advice for anyone considering joining Black Country Impact would be sign up!
I couldn’t access any funding to pay for the course, my kit and uniform. Through the support of Black Country Impact, I was able to follow my dreams and I’m now completing a Beauty Therapy Level 2 qualification.
