Apprenticeships

Young people can face difficult decisions when leaving school or college about their future career path. With so many options and an overload of information, it can be quite daunting for some to understand and decide what they want for their future.

Apprenticeships are a different way of learning and have previously been considered of lower standing than university study. However, with the introduction of level 6 and level 7 apprenticeships (equivalent to a degree or Masters degree), this mode of study can now take you as far as the traditional university route with the advantage of paid work experience.

With so much information readily available about apprenticeships , as a parent you want to ensure you are offering the right advice and are able to support your child to make the best possible decision to reach their full potential and achieve their goals.
